Educational Qualification / शैक्षणिक पात्रता
The essential qualification is a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any discipline – including Arts, Commerce, Science, Management, Agriculture, Engineering or another discipline – from a premier institute, together with one of the prescribed nutrition/public-health qualifications. The ToR names Diploma in Nutrition and Health Education (DNHE) or Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics (PGDCND) among the essential routes. Master of Public Health (MPH) and B.Ed./D.Ed. are listed as additional preferable qualifications.

Role and Responsibilities / कामाचे स्वरूप
The Senior Consultant reports to the CEO, MITRA. Key work includes developing strategies to address malnutrition, obesity and related health concerns; guiding supplementation, fortification, diversification and balanced-diet programmes; supporting initiatives in schools and Anganwadis; designing outcome-oriented policies and programmes; monitoring progress using data; coordinating with government stakeholders; and studying good practices that can be adapted for Maharashtra.
